Mi uzis ŝildon por Prago, veturis per la urbaj tramoj al la plej proksima vilaĝo, kaj de tie piediris. Estas multaj pomarboj laŭ la vojo, do oni ankaŭ povas manĝi tie. Mi kredas, ke se oni havas multan tempon kaj bagaĝon, oni ankaŭ povas petveturi de la vilaĝo al pli proksime al la benzinstacio. Ĉe la alia punkto super la ĉefvojo ĉi tie sur HM, estas transportaj informoj provizitaj de Anonimulo, la plej granda petveturanto en ĉi tiu retejo. Finfine mi vizitus mia amikino Laura kiu mi konis en la UK en Brno 2025.

Iu kun hundido haltigis min survoje, dirante, ke la veturado estas mallonga, mi akceptis, kaj fine ni vojaĝis dum du tagoj kune, transirante Aŭstrion kaj reen al Germanio, preskaŭ ĝis Ulm. Ĝi multe helpis kaj estis bonega aventuro. Ni kampadis, faris bivakfajron, kaj naĝis en la rivero. Mirinde. Vicenzo, la majstro de mini-kamionetoj en Ĉeĥio.

Maljunulo, kiu parolis la germanan kaj ankaŭ ŝatis latinamerikanan muzikon, iom pli proksimigis min al Germanio.

Uzante ŝildon kiu diris "DE", por iri iom pli foren, kaj ĉar tie estis tre malmulte da trafiko, mi akceptis ĉiun preterpasanton. Kaj ĝi estis la unua kiu portis min kelkajn kilometrojn, sed al loko kie estis pli facile halti.

Post semajno en Prago kun miaj amikinoj Laura kaj Ju, mi prenis iun transporton kaj transiris vilaĝon kaj kelkajn vakajn terenojn por atingi ĉi tiun lokon. Mi direktiĝis al Milano por viziti mian fraton. Tre bone pagata paro da aktoroj, ĉar ili veturis per BMW, donis al mi bonegan veturon ĝis proksime de la germana limo.

Many cars going there just for food and then turning around to czechia, we tried everything, we asked many people there and nobody helped. Luckily after approximately two hours a Czech couple stopped and took us… But its a tuff spot to hitchhike from!

Nobody goes to this gas station, only Trucks with one seat left, and they don’t look much happy when they see you… Do not autostop here! Better station is the Kateřina one…

We were going to Munich… We asked the staff at the Restaurant for some cardboard and marker so we could make a sign, they were kind enough and gave us both. We then made an sign with “Plzeň” on it and after some while a couple took us. We were standing next to the Bageterie.

Easy to reach, a long bus stop with wide space for cars to stop and good visibility for cars (driving moderately fast). I thumbed without sign and after 10 mins got a ride to Brno, and dropped me at a good gas station directly on the highway (Lískovec) where I could very easily continue north to Prague. Seems like a very good place overall!

good place, easily accessible by public transport. A truck driver from Turkey picked me up after 30 minutes to the border, after the border a couple from the Czech Republic.

A good place if you want to go towards Italy, France and Germany or the Czech Republic. We were heading towards Budapest and we had some difficulties to find someone who was driving in that direction. But a lot can depend on what time you hitchhiking. On the plus side, a lot of trucks and quite a lot of passenger car traffic at the gas station. A good place to stop/accommodate. There is a shower, laundry, hostel.

Super easy spot heading west! Cars slow down as they approach the town, and it seems like many are just passing through, heading either west or south. I managed to get a ride all the way to the Czech Republic (hey, Leon 👋). A lot of cars, though!

If you're trying to cross the border into the Czech republic then this is the place to be. Good traffic and it's possible for the drivers to stop just before entering the on ramp. Of you're patient then it should be possible to get a ride to Prague from here.

Impossible trip to the Czech Republic, 4 hours and nothing. it's better to choose a different place

We're extremely lucky, the first car took us until Nordhausen (we're heading to Harz) but generally very good spot for going to Germany. All Germans stops here because the gas is cheaper in the Czech Republic and it's the last gas station before Germany.

I was left here by driver who took me from Krakow (late Sunday) and just after I left the car and asked the first I noticed there (many stop for gas, to rest etc.) I had a lift to connect A1 (I needed to go the the Czech Republic border).

Over one year later, I was here again, and have to take back what I said before. The place where I hitchhiked last year is not a good spot. This time I hitchhiked right next Mercur and ofter 20 mins got a lift to the highway. Unless it is Friday and lots of Poles and Czechs are going home the chance someone will take you to the Czech Republic is low, so hitchhike without a sign, and get as far as you can ;)

Friday morning only few cars were going to the Czech Republic. Waiting 2 hours. (But good place for spent time - in fuel station is unlimited free wifi and electricity with tables)

not really sure if this was the spot, but most probably it was, anyway, here should be a bus statio which is a great spot towards the Czech Republic, cars stop at the lights and have enough space to pull over. I was there about 30 min and then a guy took me about 20-30 km further.

in february 2013 there was almost nobody going in direction of the czech republic. got stuck here for 6 hours. traffic is good to munich!

Decent traffic going to the Czech republic and further. I got a ride with a Slovaki on her way home.

Probably the best place of Grafenau, direction Freyung. There is almost nobody going to the Czech Republic though.

2 of us waited for about 2 hours to get a lift towards the Czech Republic- we got very lucky. It was not a good spot, not much traffic, not many cars going that way. (It was Thursday evening, 5-7pm)

From the city center, walk trough the Rybnicka street. You can stay in the front of BP petrol station. A lot of local traffic, but some of the cars are going to the A4 (Katowice, Krakw or Opole, Wrocaw) or southwards to the Rybnik, Bohumn, Ostrava and farther to the Czech republic)
